Each show lasts three minutes and continues throughout the evening after sunset at 30-minute intervals. Designs vary as well, thanks to imaginative show designers.
It’s no easy feat for Performance Lake to come alive: it’s truly a marvel of engineering that you can appreciate once you see a show. The lake itself holds some 800,000 gallons of water, and underneath the surface, there are 1,500 individually controlled LED lights, 300 water nozzles, and seven fire jets that work in harmony each time.
All elements are carefully timed to ensure that the shows are synchronised with the music, which ranges from famous Broadway songs to traditional Chinese pieces.
