The Cotai Strip is home to all the biggest and most luxurious casinos, clubs, and hotels in Macau.
It’s the eastern version of the Las Vegas strip and is known for the highest concentration of gambling here compared to the rest of the world.

The strip stretches from The Countdown Hotel down to Studio City in the south; it’s one long street filled with glitzy casinos and skyscrapers that come alive at night with their bright lights.
The biggest casino resort here is The Venetian, which also happens to be an iconic entertainment destination in Macau and is also the biggest casino in the world. The Venetian has hundreds of casino games, including roulette wheels, blackjack tables, slot machines, and much more.
City of Dreams is located just across the street, featuring the usual array of gambling games and three massive hotels. They are also famous for hosting incredible pool parties and shows.
The Cotai Strip is also where you’ll find the Galaxy, an ultra-luxury resort complex equipped with a plus spa, rooftop wave pool, and three separate hotels.
Meanwhile, all the shopping on the strip is done within the casinos instead of outside on the street. All of the casino resorts have their own designer boutiques, though the Venetian has the most shops in the area, boasting a whopping 300 shops ranging from mid-price to high-end.
Aside from shopping and gambling, there is some excellent dining here. All of the major casinos have famous restaurants, though the more notable ones include The Tasting Room, a Michelin-starred restaurant in the City of Dreams.
