The multi-day government-sponsored festival, done in conjunction with the Macao Government Tourism Office and the Municipal Affairs Bureau, aims to highlight incredible local talent featuring dozens of bands. They also invite international bands from all around Asia, making it among the best shows for rock music enthusiasts.

The entrance is free of charge, so everyone is welcome to attend the concerts and have a fantastic time.

hush! has proven to be an important tourism draw as well, with thousands of people flocking to Macau to watch the rock bands. Through the years, the event has evolved as they have offered more activities, including music workshops, art installations, music video competitions, and an array of booths showcasing local food, art, and crafts.

There is so much to indulge in, especially for travellers who are interested in immersing in Macau’s artistic culture. It’s also a fantastic way to meet new people.

The event occurs in varying locations depending on the year, though it usually occurs around November. In previous years, the activities and concerts have occurred at the Macao Science Center Plaza, Hac Sa Beach, the Navy Yard 2, and more.

There will also be special events and activities planned out for children, such as interactive games, musicals on stilts, a kids’ recreation area, and much more. Delicious food and refreshing beverages will also be sold on-site, so you can be assured everything you need for a full day of fun will be taken care of.

hush! is an event you must not miss if you enjoy music festivals.
