Hush! is a thrilling annual music festival in Macau focusing on local and pop rock artists.

Following last year’s first-ever crossover of pop music and yoga sports, this year’s event will continue to use Hac Sa Beach’s natural coastal resources. The music and sports stages will ignite Macau’s longest beach coastline, creating Macau’s largest beach music and yoga leisure experience.
The ‘hush! Beach Concerts’ will gather musicians from various regions and local artists, presenting a series of music performances and extended activities, covering genres such as rock, electronic, hip-hop, experimental, folk, and jazz. There will also be creative workshops, markets, and installation art. The ‘Yo~ga Wellfest 2024’ will feature over thirty fitness and yoga star instructors from Asia, offering guidance on various intensities and activities, including SUP Yoga, gong baths, and energetic dance classes.

9m88 is a Taipei-based independent singer-songwriter born in the 1990s. Since her debut in 2016, she has released three official albums, one jazz EP, and numerous personal and collaborative singles, showcasing diverse styles, including R&B, Neo-Soul, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Pop. Highly productive, she is one of the few independent musicians who have successfully ventured into acting, podcast hosting, fashion, and visual arts.
In Taiwan, 9m88 has consistently achieved sold-out performances and has participated in international music festivals such as Japan’s Summer Sonic, Hong Kong’s Clockenflap, and Korea’s DMZ. She has also sold out shows in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
Jay Leonard J (feat. Jun Kung)
Jay Leonard J’s upcoming album, “Aww Man!”, is a vibrant retrospective of his and Macao music legend Jun Kung’s diverse careers. Featuring a fast-paced musical style that spans genres like arena rock, country-soul, blues, indie surf, and pop-funk, this album marks the culmination of a 12-year friendship and collaboration.
NeonGarden
NeonGarden is a young rock band from Chongqing, China, well known for hits such as “Silent Beach,” “Answers for the Future,” and “Goodbye Wilson.” They are one of the most popular bands in mainland China and are known for their high-calibre live performances, appearing at various music festivals.
NeonGarden is one of the fiercest dark horses’ bands in recent years. Statistically, they are one of the best-grossing bands and one of the most invited young bands to appear at major festivals. With their crazy live appeal, they quickly gained popularity among rock fans and became a hot topic in mainland China.
NeonGarden sold out over 50 shows on the FEVER! Tour in Mainland China and began the tour overseas in 2023. The tour continued in Tokyo, Melbourne, and Sydney.
DJ KRUSH
Sound creator and DJ, his talent in song selection and mixing, as well as in sound production, are highly applauded internationally. Influenced by the film“Wild Style”, he entered the world of Hip hop DJ in the early 1980s. In 1992, he began his solo activities and gained attention as the first DJ to manipulate the turntable as an instrument adroitly. In 1994, he released his first album ‘KRUSH’, and since then, he has released 12 solo albums, one mix album, and two self-remix albums.
Over the past thirty years or so, he has actively performed DJ sets both domestically and internationally, participating in various music festivals worldwide, including the UK’s largest music festival, Glastonbury, Coachella (USA), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Sonar (Spain), Roskilde (Denmark), and more than 200 other various music festivals. As an international artist with a wide range of talents, DJ KRUSH continues to leave his unique trajectories on the world stage.
The entrance is free of charge, so everyone is welcome to attend the concerts and have a fantastic time.
Hush! has proven to be an important tourism draw as well, with thousands of people flocking to Macau to watch the rock bands. Over the years, the event has evolved as it has offered more activities, including music workshops, art installations, music video competitions, and an array of booths showcasing local food, art, and crafts.
There is so much to indulge in, especially for travellers interested in immersing themselves in Macau’s artistic culture. It’s also a fantastic way to meet new people.
The event occurs in varying locations depending on the year, though it usually occurs around November. In previous years, the activities and concerts have occurred at the Macao Science Center Plaza, Hac Sa Beach, Navy Yard 2, and more.
Special events and activities for children will also be planned, such as interactive games, musicals on stilts, a kids’ recreation area, and much more. Delicious food and refreshing beverages will also be sold on-site, so you can be assured that everything you need for a full day of fun will be taken care of.
