There are 56 sculptures found here, and the exhibit centre is a fantastic place to learn about each ethnic group through photos and other media forms, as well as valuable objects that belong to each specific ethnic group. This way, visitors can learn about and appreciate the traditional Chinese culture, even among diverse ethnic groups.
The Sculpture Park of the Chinese Ethnics was originally located in Taipa Grande, though it was transferred to the Comendador Ho Ying Garden as part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China in 2019, as well as the 20th anniversary of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
Comendador Ho Yin Park, also called Xiangshan Park, was built in 1993 to pay tribute to Chinese leader Ho Yin, whose love for Macau was well-known.
During your visit, explore the park, which is certainly among the most beautiful with all its lush verdant bushes and trees. It’s a renowned leisure destination among residents, but tourists will appreciate a visit here too. Some of the park’s amenities include exercise equipment, Portuguese tiled walkways, a kids’ playground, a library, and a badminton court, among others.
This multi-functional outdoor space has something for everyone, whether looking for sports and leisure, history, or a beautiful space to relax.
