The Macao International Music Festival is an annual month-long event, usually from October through November, that showcases some of the best local and international artists.
For the past several decades, the Cultural Affairs Bureau has been organizing this musical festival to bring incredible performances to the shores of Macau.

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the 36th Macao International Music Festival (MIMF) was held from 4 October to 4 November 2024. Themed “And the Stars Shine”, the last edition of the MIMF featured 12 spectacular programmes and 16 outreach activities, gathering maestros and rising stars from the music scene to present a star-studded musical feast with timeless melodies.
The Macao International Music Festival will occur at several national cultural and performance venues, including World Heritage sites. In the past, these have included the Macao Cultural Centre, Macao Museum of Art, Dom Pedro V Theatre, Company of Jesus Square, Tap Seac Square, The Parisian, and so much more. The streets of Macau will be filled with exciting performances spanning various genres to satisfy the artistic and cultural curiosity of the general public.
