Getting here requires a scenic walk, but it will be worth it once you see what the viewpoint offers.

As one of the most picturesque free attractions in Macau, this is a fun outdoor activity you can enjoy with the whole family. The best time to visit is late afternoon or early morning, as it can get pretty hot during early afternoons.

The lookout was designed by Macau Professional Services Ltd., which earned a 2020 Gold Prize for the amazing architecture of the viewpoint.

Taipa Pequena Lookout is around 600 square meters large and has ample facilities for visitors. These include bathrooms, shelters, elevators, a parking lot for tour buses, and photogenic areas.

Situated 279 feet above sea level, the trail getting here is among the most famous in the country and for good reason. This is highly recommended if you are looking for a new, exciting destination to check out while burning calories and taking in the sights. After your visit, you can explore nearby attractions in Taipa.

Taipa Village is a must-see while here. It’s the oldest and most well-preserved heritage area on the island, where you can mingle with the locals in a quaint fishing village dotted with traditional shophouses. This is a wonderful contrast to the glitzy casinos of the Cotai Strip. Walk along the cobblestone streets and appreciate the beautiful Chinese and Portuguese architecture with Mediterranean influences.

Once you get hungry, go to Rua do Cunha, the famous food street where you can find more than a dozen vendors selling a huge array of culinary delights from East and West.

These and more await you when you visit the Taipa Pequena Lookout.
