Located at the Lisboeta Macau, it’s home to the first IMAX Theatre as well as MX4D Theatre and VIP House.

Back in November 2021, the cinemas were first launched. It boasts of 9 theatres, seating around 1,200 people across all. In addition, they have the biggest movie screen plus an impressive 12.0 sound system, the only ones of its kind in Macau and Hong Kong. The IMAX Theatre can seat 466 people, with a massive screen 23 meters wide and 12 meters high, plus a laser projection system.

Emperor Cinemas utilizes only the latest cinematic technology. These include the MX4D EFX theatre, a system created by MediaMation to offer viewers three degrees of movement. You will experience movies like never before, as the theatres make environmental effects and movement realistic. From water sprays to vibrating seats, realistic lighting, and so much more, you won’t want to miss this in Macau.

If you want an intimate and special screening with your loved ones, check out the Coronet VIP house; viewers are treated like VIPs with food and beverage service plus private movie shows.

Gourmet food and a wide range of beverages are available for all movie patrons. Kids, in particular, will be in for a treat. Take the whole family to watch an animated film here, and watch as the characters come alive! Whether young or old, there’s a cinematic treat to indulge in here.
