This museum holds many interesting displays that will intrigue adults, and kids will surely be fascinated by the exhibits! It may inspire your kids to be firefighters someday as they explore the instruments and vehicles used to put out fires and save lives.

The life-sized and scale equipment models include clothing, gear, firefighting tools, and more. They also tell stories of firefighters, though you will also learn how they are trained. Another highlight is the section dedicated to some of the most famous fires in history.

The Fire Services Museum is a very informative and educational place that all ages will appreciate. Entrance is free of charge, and the staff are very helpful. In addition, it houses a small gift shop where you can buy souvenirs. The museum may not be as large as the other museums around town, and you’ll only need around an hour to check out all the exhibits. However, it’s still definitely worth a visit.

There are other museums and attractions nearby, too. The Macau Timepiece Museum, a few minutes walk away, has been around since 2018 and has attracted thousands of timepiece and history enthusiasts. It houses a fascinating array of curated timepieces collected from around the world for a long time.

Aside from this, noteworthy sights in the area include the Senado Square, Flora Garden, Macao Museum of Art, and the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf.

The Fire Services Museum is one of the best family-friendly activities to visit.
