Iao Hon Market Park

The Iao Hon Market Park (Jardim do Mercado de Iao Hon) is a public garden and a park closely located to the municipal market.

It was established in 1994 in a residential and populated part of Macau.

The park has open green spaces that are ideal for families with children to play and exercise outdoors. It’s equipped with a playground, physical exercise equipment, a shaded area, and a three-storey car park added in 2007. This space provides a wonderful place to relax and unwind in the busy neighbourhood, and it’s not uncommon to see people exercising here, especially in the early morning or late afternoon.

The municipal market is known for selling some of the tastiest local delicacies at affordable prices. Some must-try dishes include handmade gyoza, pork dumplings, noodle dishes, and much more. From here, you can also walk to the Triangular da Areia Preta Garden, a triangle-shaped public garden near the Lin Fung Temple and Mong Ha Park. The mostly residential and commercial area here is a great place to explore; there are numerous cafes and minor attractions, though it tends to be less busy than others.
