MGM Aquarium

The MGM Aquarium is one of the country’s collections of fish, sure to delight both adults and children alike.

Featuring a massive 8-meter high, cylindrical-shaped aquarium within the Grande Praca of MGM Macau, this marine wonderland is home to thousands of fish and other marine-themed attractions.

The entire aquarium weighs 200 tons and is 5 meters large. Because of its unique design, visitors can enjoy unobstructed views of the marine animals thriving inside it. During the afternoon, you can watch professional divers enter the tanks to feed many colourful exotic fish species. The divers can also interact directly with you, even if you are outside the tank, through state-of-the-art telecommunications, sharing valuable stories and information about the aquatic animals you see.

Some fish species you’ll meet at the MGM Aquarium are clown triggerfish, panther grouper, cow nose stingrays, blue moon angelfish, giant turtles, pufferfish, and so much more.

It’s a very relaxing atmosphere for everyone since you are welcome to sit back and enjoy the marine show that unfolds right before your very eyes. While at the Grande Praca of the resort, you can also dine on many delicious dishes.

The resort has many renowned dining outlets perfect for families to dine in together after checking out the aquarium. One of these is the Rossio on the same floor as the aquarium. Rossio has gained a reputation for offering some of the best Portuguese and Macanese cuisine under one roof. Not to be missed are the Crispy Suckling Pig, Beef Brisket Curry, and Curry Lobster among others.
