The Tap Seac Multi-Sports Pavilion (Pavilhão Polidesportivo Tap Seac) is a premier indoor sporting venue.

Established in November 2004, it has 5,539 square meters of recreational and indoor sports facilities.

The interiors are particularly stunning because of its aluminium and glass walls, allowing natural sunlight inside. It also features a unique streamlined dome. More importantly, it boasts world-class sports facilities for basketball, badminton, gymnastics, table tennis, football, and multipurpose rooms, which can be converted to accommodate patrons. The pavilions and rooms can be rented out for groups as well.

Tap Seac Multi-Sports Pavilion, also known as Pavilhão Polidesportivo Tap Seac, is comprised of Pavilion A, Pavilion B, the Table Tennis Zone (in the lobby), a Table Tennis Room, multi-purpose rooms, and other facilities.

Pavilion A can accommodate 3,295 people, though 1,120 are retractable to make more space. Meanwhile, the Table Tennis Zone has 8 table tennis tables plus a ball machine, while the table tennis room has three tables and one ball machine. The other facilities include an 850 square meter sports hall, LED screen, changing rooms, wet and dry sauna, and power outlets.

This venue has hosted many notable sporting events, including the East Asian Games, the Asian Indoor Games, and the Lusophony Games.

Individual and group fees and day and night rates are available, though advanced bookings are recommended.

The surrounding area has other notable landmarks that you can also visit, such as the lovely Tap Seac Square, the biggest public square in the country. This is an excellent place to unwind in one of the cafes and indulge in delicious food, especially after a day of playing sports.
