Tea has always been the most famous drink in China, but there are many enthralling details to learn about its history and the traditions that are associated with it. Inside the museum are ancient relics and decor preserved from past centuries, all of which are connected to tea appreciation and tea culture. These include vintage tea sets and teapots, artworks, and an area that has been set up to mimic an old tea house in Macau.

The Macao Tea Culture Museum is housed within a colonial European home, and there is a Suzhou-styled garden outside. It has been around since 2005, and all the displays have been amazingly well-preserved throughout the centuries.

After learning about tea, walk around the house to admire the European features, though it has a Chinese tiled roof outside. It’s a novelty museum worth visiting, especially if you enjoy this beverage.

Entrance is free of charge, and they are open daily from 9am to 7pm except for Mondays when they are closed. Check the calendar for events since they occasionally host tea activities, and sometimes they even have tea-tasting services.

Afterwards, you can visit nearby landmarks such as the Lou Lim Ieoc Garden, Tap Seac Gallery, Victory Garden, Flora Garden, and the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion. This quaint part of Macau has so much to offer.
