Though there are no tourist amenities here, many outdoor sports enthusiasts enjoy making this part of their running trail. It’s one of the best parts of Taipa for picturesque runs, where you can feel the sea breeze caressing your face while you run.

Next to it is the Taipa Pequena, also known as Small Taipa Hill, which has a 1.7-mile loop ideal for runners and hikers of all fitness levels and abilities.

After visiting Ocean Park, you can cool down at Taipa Central Park. This 22,220 square meter large green zone has hundreds of different plants and a shaded area where visitors and runners can get respite in the middle of an urban area. Some renowned plant and flower species you can find here include Taiwan cherries, small-fruit holly, Bauinia trees, jacaranda trees, and so much more.

Taipa Central Park has several recreational amenities, including a playground, outdoor sports facilities, a swimming pool, a library, vending machines, and toilets.

From here, you can also access the famous Flower City Garden. It’s a well-loved destination for the local community who spend time here because of its scenic surroundings. Flower City Garden is designed with traditional Chinese elements such as a pavilion, lotus pond, winding bridges, and more. The amenities include a kids’ playground and the lake, with dozens of live fish.

Other nearby tourist sites include the Taipa Houses Museum, the Historical Museum of Taipa and Coloane, Vila da Taipa, and more.

Ocean Park and the neighbouring attractions make for a lovely day out.
