Easily the most famous landmark here, the Ruins of St. Paul’s is an old relic and a top tourist destination. It’s the remains of an old Jesuit church, and witnessing its 5 granite tiers, especially during sunset, is a sight to behold. Look out for the statue of Madonna and Jesus, bas reliefs, and many more intricate details.

Spend a day strolling Senado Square, a popular UNESCO World Heritage Site where the colourful history of Macau is thriving. There are dozens of shops, restaurants, and a fountain in the centre that entirely transports you to another place and time.

Discovering Macau also means stopping by the Macau Tower, a city landmark where you can take in amazing views from the top. It stands out from afar with its marvellous construction, and inside there is an observation deck, a cinema, bungee jumping, and restaurants.

Travel back in time at the A-Ma Temple, one of the oldest in all of China, dating back to 1488. It was built to honour Matsu, the Chinese goddess of fishermen and seafarers. The temple features six different sections and is a spellbinding place with its beauty and serenity.

History buffs should check out the Macao Museum within the Fortaleza do Monte, to learn a more detailed history of the country with its large display area showcasing numerous souvenirs and items.

Another popular tourist attraction is the Venetian, a world-famous Venice-themed casino resort. Every inch of the property is dripping in extravagance, from its designer boutiques to restaurants, rooms, and casino.

Other sights include the Fisherman’s Wharf, Hac Sa Beach, and the Guia Fortress.

Macau attractions truly have something to offer everyone.
